Bulgaria joins EU on January 1, 2007

We finally made it. Bulgaria is going to be part of the EU after about 90 days. There are very exciting times in front of us. I wonder what DevReach will look like next year when we do not have any visa limitations. I am starting to dream... :)

DevReach is almost sold out

If by any chance you have not heard about the premium Microsoft conference in Sofia, Bulgaria, now is good time to go to DevReach site and register for the event.
DevReach conference is almost sold out. We have about 70% of all passes sold just for the Early bird registration period, which is really amazing. It shows the power of community at full glamour. Though various software groups, through INETA, MVP Program and MSDN Regional Director Program, we have managed to sold out 70% of the passes just couple of weeks after the registration was opened.
I would like to thank to all attendees that believed in us and hope that they will have great time at DevReach 2006.
If they do, which I have no doubts in that, they will find DevReach 2007 even more attractive :)

MSDN Webcast - another try

As I told you before, I was going to speak at MSDN Webcast - Troubleshooting Web Site Performance Issues with Visual Studio Team System. Eventually this webcast was cancelled several times, because of many unforeseen reasons.

DevReach is live and awating you

Finally, after months of planning and preparation we are ready to announce that DevReach, the premier conference for Microsoft technologies in Bulgaria, is live and is accepting registrations. Can you imagine that I first got the idea of organizing high value, internationally recognized technical conference in January 2006? So many months we have been struggling into getting only world known experts come to Bulgaria and share their passion for Microsoft Technologies. So many months we did not know if we are going to get the sponsorship that would secure the conference and would make possible offering extremely competitive prices for attendees. Now DevReach has about 25 sessions and 12 speakers at a price that is about 10 to 20 times smaller than similar event everywhere in Europe. It is awesome! We are finally going to get it right – without marketing hype, connecting developers from all Europe, providing world recognized speakers and unbeatable content. It would rock! It is the first time in Bulgaria and even the Balkans that a conference of such kind is delivered. And we will have the incredible chance to meet all the speakers here and learn from their experience.
Did I say that DotNetRocks will also deliver a show from the conference.
